A: Yes! Friends and family are encouraged to visit their loved ones at the center and center staff is on hand 24/7 to facilitate visits.
Q: What should I bring with me during my stay?
A: Prior to admittance, our experienced Admissions Coordinator will speak with you and your family about the items you should bring with you.
Q: What is the typical length of stay for a rehab patient?
A: Our short-stay patient's length of stay (LOS) is dependent upon the admitting diagnosis and complexity of their nursing and rehab care.
Q: What can I expected upon admission of my loved one?
A: For our long-term care patients, our experienced staff and social services team will meet with our new resident to address concerns, to introduce them to the center and to evaluate their specific needs.
Q: Help! I'm nervous about the meal choices at the center.
A: No need to worry! Our STAR dining implements a professional chef and all meals can be cooked-to-order to meet your dietary requirements. Our centers utilize dietary aides and most have a dietician on staff to address nutrition concerns.
Q: What kind of activities does the center offer? (LTC)
A: Each center has an Activities Director that implements daily programs for residents. Residents can enjoy everything from Bingo to scrapbooking to live music.
Q: What kind of amenities can I expect during my stay?
A: All STAR rooms come equipped with a TV/DVD player and our concierge has a variety of movies to choose from. All rooms also come with private phone lines and some of our rooms are equipped with a private bath. Our STAR unit features a spa and some even have a salon or massage room!
Q: What if I have a special request during my stay that I cannot take care of on my own?
A: Our STAR Concierge is happy to help you fulfill any request. We are happy to help you honor a family member's birthday, get you a must-have item you forgot to pack or simply get you the local newspaper. We want you to feel comfortable and taken care of during your STAR experience!
Q: What kind of health insurance do you accept?
A: While you should also check with the center you will be residing at as some plans differ, a majority of our centers accept Medicare, Medicaid, Private Pay and VA.

Q: Can you tell me more about the short-stay rehab program? (STAR)
A: Our experienced rehab therapists offer therapy 7 days a week and will work with you to tailor a program designed to meet your rehab goals and to get you home as safely and as quickly as possible. We have the expertise to take care of people post-surgery and post-hospitalization for a variety of needs. Our rehab gyms use state-of-the-art equipment to address your rehab needs.
